This is a healthy low calorie (no weight watchers points) vegetable soup that you can eat any time a hunger tries to ambush your healthy eating diet or slimming plans. It is simple to make and a blessing to have around.
Instructions
- 1
Gather the vegetables that you intend to use.
I like to add one large onion chopped.
One zuccini/courgette chopped.
Summer squash if available.
Turnip/swede will give the soup a delicate sweetness.
Can of chopped tomatoes.
Two carrots peeled and chopped.
Celery if available chopped.
Any other vegetables you have on hand.
Place all chopped vegetables in large saucepan and cover with water.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add a large dash of Worcestershire sauce.
Add a large dash of Soy sauce.
If desired add the hot sauce and the Chinese five spice.
Boil till the veggie's have softened or until you just can't bear to wait anymore because the fragrance is driving you mad.
If you want you could place some in a food blender for a smother version.
